Good programming skills in C , C++ . Knowledge of Java will be additional advantage. Good exposure to Unix sun Solaris environment Hand-on experience and knowledge on signaling protocols i.e. SS7, ISUP, SIP, IMS, H.248, MGCP, TGCP, NCS, Radius, COPS, Q.931, QSIG, SCTP, Diameter,H.323 Experience on Unix/(Montavista:Linux), any RTOS like VxWorks, IOS Packet Forwarding Software Development/testing for Routers/Switches in IPV4, IPV6 and MPLS domains, System level interactions between Control Plane and Data Plane aspects of the Routers/Switches Good exposure in Deep Packet Inspection and IP L4-L7 protocols Experience in working with either of n/w processors IXP, Wintegra, Agere, PXF Experience in protocols like MPLS,IPV4,RIP, BGP, OSPF, PIM,IGMP, PPP, DHCP etc ATM protocols AAL2, AAL5 and PNNI Experience in security domain, IP Sec, SSL, RTP/RTCP Security, L2/L3 VPN and firewall Good exposure of line card interfaces Ethernet, PoS, ATM (OC3/OC12/OC-48), E1/T1
