Position-Java Team Lead Job Location- Gurgoan\Noida

OPEN & URGENT

Mission and place in the organisation:

1. Be a part of Bharti UGIS project. Responsible for Requirement understanding, Analysis and Design of Network Internal Gateway (of Smallworld) module of UGIS.

2. Lead the design and development activities of NIG. Overall responsible for ensuring the success of NIG.

3. Ensure timely deliveries of NIG, in compliance with the quality processes.

Tasks:

1. Understanding project requirements

2. Technically guide and lead the team of 10-15 software engineers working on NIG development

3. Ensure a flexible and scalable architecture for NIG solution

4. Provide technical guidance on Java & NIG related issues

5. Ensure that the development is done as per prescribed quality process

6. Responsible for timely and quality delivery of NIG

7. Ensure optimum work allocation to team members

8. Tracking and monitoring of assigned work as per schedule

Education:

· BE/ME/M Tech/MCA/MSc : Computers, Elec & Comm, Electrical

· Industry Type: IT-Software/ Software Services

· Functional Area: Telecom Software.

· Experience of 5 to 7 years in application development on Java/J2EE, JSF (MVC) and PL/SQL with good understanding of OOPs.

· Working experience in object-oriented design (OOAD, UML, Design Patterns etc.)

· Experience on Java 5, JSF, JBoss 4.0, My Eclipse is desirable.

· Experience in handling teams of size 15 to 20.

· Working experience with an RDBMS, preferably Oracle

· Experience on GIS Domain/Smallworld-NIG or any Map publishing projects is preferable.

Technical skills:

· Good knowledge on Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, EJBs) Struts framework.

· Good knowledge on Object Oriented Design and Programming.

· Experience on working with map based applications will be a plus

Personal skills:

· Good analytical skills

· Positive attitude towards work

· Willing to work in any technology or project.
