Java, .NET, Testing, Oracle Openings in ADP‏

Below are the open positions in ADP

Development : .Net (.Net)
*3-5 years of experience in application development using C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET,
    VB, ASP, SQL Server

*Working experience in object-oriented design (OOAD, UML, Design Patterns etc.)

*Strong working experience with an RDBMS, preferably SQL Server

Open Position Desc :

*Job Description : ----------------- The candidate with 5-7 years of .NET experience
and should possess strong technical foundation in .NET 2.0 Framework and C#.
Should be experienced with ASP .NET 2.0 and possess hands-on experience with
developing web applications. Must be strong with T-SQL usage and SQL 2005 as
back-end. Should be well-versed with unit-testing concepts. Must possess strong
OOP concepts and be able to demonstrate clear communication and documentation of
design and design proposals. Working knowledge of .NET/COM interoperability is
preferred. Working knowledge of .NET 3.5 ( WCF, WF ) as well as Enterprise Library
Application Blocks is an advantage. Preferred/desirable skills include knowledge
of UML, design patterns and Payroll domain. Must be a quick learner and self-starter.

 Responsibilities ---------------- * Participate in analysis of requirements as well
 as high/low level design * Deliver high quality code as well as the necessary
unit-testing * Communicate with BA and the dev team for the domain aspects and
design


Development : J2EE (J2EE)

* Experience in EJB, JSP, Struts, Servlets and other J2EE technologies
* Experience on XML and Webservices is a must
* Experience with any of the App/Web servers (preferably Websphere) is a must
* Good understanding of OOPS concepts, UML and Design Patterns

Open Position Desc :
* 2 to 3 years of J2EE development experience


Generic : DBA (DBA)

* Experience in performing oracle data base administration activities
* Should assit in installing, configuring, upgrading, supporting and
       maintaining Oracle and SQL server databases
* Ability to work effectively within a technical team

Open Position Desc :
* 3 - 5 years of production DBA experience with Oracle. Some SQL Server would
       be an advantage. Ability to lead a small (3-4) team of junior DBA’s.


QA : Manual Testing (Manual Testing)

Job Code Desc :

* Strong experience in software testing multi-tier client/server and
       enterprise internet applications
* Strong experience in writing test strategy, test plans and test cases and
       reporting defects
* Good understanding of various testing methodologies
* Must have working knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL, Oracle or SQL Server
* Experience utilizing web technologies in test environments: Web Servers,
       Browsers, Cookies, etc.
* Must exhibit good functional / domain understanding of the current project

Open Position Desc :

* 3-4 years working experience involving writing test objectives/procedures,
       designing test cases, manual test execution and defect identification.
       Experience in Application Security Domain especially digital certificates
       Experience in testing integrated web applications Experience in using
       Mercury Quality Center is a must Good understanding of the Software
       Development Life Cycle and QA Life Cycle In depth knowledge and thorough
       understanding of formal testing methodologies and best practices. Ability
       to successfully adapt and apply industry best practices/concepts. Software
       Testing Certification desired. Experience in Unix OS, XML, MQ Messages is
       plus
