Oracle Developer to develop in PL/SQL and Oracle 10g sought for leading blue chip financial services company based in Hertfordshire (near London). As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be required to develop high performance, mission critical applications across multiple projects in line with technical designs and to deliver PL/SQL and Oracle reports across multiple projects into test and production environments successfully. You will also be required to perform the role of Technical Team Lead giving technical direction and support to other members of the project. You will be responsible for producing database designs to agreed standards; ensuring code is developed to agreed standards and design principles, create and ensure development designs and ensure code is successfully unit/ component tested before delivery to central test. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a market leading organisation at the height of their expansion. To be successful, you must have an excellent knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL, a strong background in conceptual, logical and physical data models using UML class modeling, domain models and Oracle database design, experience with case tools such as Oracle Designer and a good background in the full lifecycle of software development. You will be required to deliver to tight deadlines and must possess excellent team working skills. If successful, you will receive a salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience plus 27 days holiday, pension, life cover, private health and a share scheme.
