We have requirements for "SE/SSE" with Siemens Information Systems.

Job Location: Gurgaon

Mode of Interview :Face to Face on 12 June 10, Saturday

Job description

a) Is to work on power plant control systems
b) Is to develop protocols to incorporate user specific domain protocols
c) Is to develop the diagnostic and HMI server applications
d) Is to interface advanced I/O systems for existing Siemens Automation Systems
e) Is to provide maintenance support to the project teams

Qualification

BE/ BTech/ ME/ MCA/ MTech in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation & Control

Experience & Skill Set

Minimum1-3 years of experience in Core Java & Multithreading.

Essential Skills:

1. Software Project Life Cycle and Object oriented concepts
2. Excellency in programming in Core Java in Real Time applications using multi-threading, sockets, RMI, servlets (NOT Java Swings and NOT J2EE)
3. Networking (TCP/IP and UDP) knowledge
4. Protocol development experience and SNMP protocol
5. Working knowledge in C & C++ language and XML
6. Developments tools (Eclipse, ant, apache, tomcat, Junit)
7. In-depth knowledge on Windows Operating Systems and basic knowledge of Linux
8. Power Plant Automation Controls

Desirable Skills:

1. Knowledge on component-based architecture, design patterns, OODs (UML)
2. Basic knowledge of tools (DOORS, ClearCase) and packet analyzer (like wireshark) tool
3. Exposure to optimization tools (like Joptimizer) and profiling tools (like Refactor IT)
4. Sun Certified Java Professional
5. Basic Project Management skills

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills
2. Proven ability to interact with customers
3. Good team player
4. Result and Quality orientation
5. High analytical skills
