Project Lead - JAVA |

Job Description: |
- Receives general direction with occasional work review on other aspects.
- Provides team leadership in areas of specific technical knowledge that is frequently sought out by others with significant experience in a single, complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
- Identify and design most efficient and cost effective solution through research and evaluation of alternatives.
- Assist with design or enhancements of straightforward aspects of less complex systems.
- Evaluate, redesign and modify existing program logic to improve overall system performance.
- Able to conduct feasibility studies for significant new systems or expansion of current systems.
- Evaluate new enhancement request and solution to work.
- Assist in evaluating alternative protocols, tools, standards and systems investments.
- Helps to develop project cost and benefit estimates, including identification and evaluation of alternatives.
- Able to provide training and assistance on full range of technical issues to lower level staff on a project team.
- Able to act as "in charge" project leader for smaller projects or in temporary absence of project leader / manager.

Eligibility Criteria: |
- B.Tech./MCA (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).
- 6 to 8 years of total relevant experience
- Should have executed the complete SDLC on at least one project using Java, J2EE.
- Should have experience of Webservices, Application Server (WAS/Weblogic) , Spring, Struts and Portals.
- Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute).
- Significant experience in a single complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
- Should be willing to work in different shift timings.
- Shows strong, general understanding of health care industry.
- Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.
- Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines.
- Leads others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of important project goals.

- Should be open to shifts

- Should be able to lead meetings/walkthroug h session/group meetings.
- Proven track record of coaching/ mentoring.
- Ability to drive teams to deliver high quality deliverables.
- Experience in complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms.
- Ability to Create effort/duration estimates and deliverable lists for proposed projects.
- Should be capable to work independently in a global project, recommend and develop solutions.
- Good knowledge/understan ding of best testing practices followed in the industry.
