Strong Unix knowledge (scripting) – Linux / Solaris

Strong knowledge of concepts and Tools used for Source Control management (CVS, VSTS, etc.) and administration of those tools

Strong Production Support / troubleshooting experience

2) Requirements for a J2EE Lead Developer – 1 Pos – (URGENT)



Job Description:

Lead and mentor small-to-mid size teams of off-shore developers

Analyze requirements from production support tickets, requirement documents, use-cases and other artifacts.

Design, develop, deliver and maintain high-performance Java based solutions for deployment in clustered environment

Analyze, identify and fix production issues

Coordinate activities with various teams like Configuration Management, DBA, and other development teams



Skills:

5+ yrs experience in Java/J2EE application development including

EJB 2.x

Struts

JAXB

RMI

Testing framework like JUnit

ORM tool like Hibernate/iBatis

Common java libraries like log4j, tidy, jdom and xerces

Very Strong Core Java and OOD skills

Architecture and Design patterns – GoF and J2EE

Version control systems – VSTS/VSS, CVS

Ant, Shell scripting

PL/SQL experience – ability to work with stored procedures including Nested Tables and User Types.

Struts, Tiles, JSF, JSP

RMI, JMS and JDBC

Excellent knowledge of Core Java, OOD and Design Patterns

2 years experience in Front End development.

Javascript, CSS and XHTML
