Job Description


Requirements

2+ years of experience in a Software organisation (Hardcore development – Client/ Server applications using Oracle,Java & UNIX) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven Analytical Skills. Essentially have in-depth knowledge of the following: PL/SQL programming UNIX Shell Scripting Working knowledge of the following: XML Skills Web Service experience Java Programming (Core Java) Desired Skills: Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS experience / Oracle Reports / Oracle Discoverer / Batch programming. Domain Knowledge or Experience of banking/treasury products / Financial Markets Back Office Business Procedures (Settlements, Financial etc.) would be a distinct advantage. Should have the capability to understand requirements of business users and translate them to IT deliverables working independently. Formal certifications in Development (OCP in Developer Track) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Development, BAU-Enhancement and Support of ORD. This Role is to develop solutions based on Wall Street trade and settlement related data. Responsible for design, specifications, development, testing and Production release This role reports to Team Lead.
