Job Description

Role:
Candidate with Strong Core Java/J2EE development experience including Web Development, XML, Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP and Tomcat/Web Sphere.
Candidate should have good database knowledge ideally in DB2 or similar database platform like Oracle, SQL Server.
Candidate should have module lead/ software designer experience.
Analyzing the business requirements and preparing the technical design
Carry out and review important technical documents, designs, codes, Test Plan etc.
Assisting PM / TL with technical details / decisions.
Mentoring team members in technical areas/decisions and help them in designing complex queries and reports.
Co-ordinating with multiple Teams across different geographical locations
Creating Low level designs and assisting designer in Application design
Carry out Coding and Unit testing independently
Bug fixing in existing applications
Supporting System test , UAT and implementation
Carry out Technical Trainings for the Team


Desired Profile
Excellent academic background
Good Knowledge of J2EE (EJB/JSP/JSF/Servlets) , Junit, SQLJ, Websphere
Excellent experience in Core Java , J2EE, Junit, SQLJ, JSF, Portlets, Rational software architect, Interface to CICS, Struts, XML, Web Services, JMS, Application Servers(Tomcat, Websphere etc..), Jrun, Apache Ant, Junit, Eclipse, UML, JAXB, Design Patterns, Spring, Hibernate
Individual who can work hand-in-hand with Project Manager in winning the Projects by submitting accurate proposals with quick turn-around time
Individual with great commitment and can win business and Team confidence very quickly
Willing to share with regular trainings and help the Team achieve excellence
Excellent experience on Oracle and/or DB2 databases
Proven ability to convert requirements into Technical Specifications
Proven ability to perform end-to-end high level and low level design for modules
Prior experience in Financial/Banking domain is an advantage
Excellent Communication skills..
Good Problem solving & Analytical skills.
Good team player willing to learn and share.
Domain knowledge in corporate banking and/or wealth management will be desirable. Knowledge of corporate lending domain will be an added advantage.
Good client management and inter-personal skills.

Leading/Managing Java projects from concept through the entire project lifecycle.
Leading/Managing technical teams/developers in the design and deployment of Java solutions to business/project requirements.
Ensuring Group Technology processes are followed during the project lifecycle.
