• 2 yrs.

Position Description/Major Responsibilities:

• Maintain, design, code, debug and test enhancements for Parallel Database
Environment kernel driver of Teradata database software.
• Write feature, design and test specifications.
• Perform requirements analysis, performance analysis and problem analysis.

Essential Skills:

• Very strong in C language and work experience in using C language.
• Very good analytical and debugging skills using debuggers like GDB, WinDBG,
Visual Studio debugger.
• Good in shell scripting.

Desired, but not mandatory, Skills:

• Knowledge about Operating Systems internals and its workings.
• Knowledge about assembly programming in x86 and/or x8664 processors.
• Understanding of relational database logical and physical design concepts.
• Strong analytical abilities involving complex software in a parallel processing
environment.

Qualification/Educational requirements:

• Graduate or masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Considerable programming experience in C language.
• Should be a fast learner with very good written and oral communication skills.
• Should have the ability to understand, and work with, complex massively parallel
software.
